The wind had been forecast well in advance. And mostly accurate - thanks Weather satellites.... On arrival at just gone 11 a few were planning sub 5m sails which seemed a bit too optimistic too me. I went for 5-2. Initially quite underpowered - it filled in after about an hour. I headed upwind up the lake about 200m and found it a little better sailing. My gybes started to work properly too. Tony was taking pictures. Colin, Neale, John and Dave were out having fun.

Mike G arrived l8r and broke the 2007 speed record with 39.?? mph on his slalom 69 and RS8 6-2 race sail. Impressive.
